Hi! I’m Jolynn Baca, originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico but now I live in New York City. About five years ago, I was on the road with a show and had too much time on my hands in between cities. I needed something to fill my time. I loved crafting and jewelry but didn’t have the budget for the pretty pieces I’d covet. A friend gave me a set of tools, took me to a beading store for beads and showed me how to make a necklace. From the moment I wore my first design, people asked me where I got it. I started making pieces for my cast mates on the road and their friends and family. When the show closed and I was back home in New York, I had my first holiday sale and almost sold out! I’ve had a holiday sale every year since and have even been carried in some stores. Now I’m on The Nate Berkus Show and trying to figure out where to go next. |
